The Gargano National Park: Sea and Mountains
The Gargano is an imposing promontory in the province of Foggia is basically a mountain range called the "spur of Italy" that stretches for 70 km in the Adriatic Sea, and that gives rise to the Gulf of Manfredonia. To the east, goes so far as the so-called head of the Gargano, to the west is joined with the Tavoliere, covering a total area of about 2000 km ².
